Emil Storløkken Åse’s PHØNIX has quickly established itself as a dynamic and exciting
force on the Norwegian jazz scene, and in 2025 the band made its breakthrough in
Europe—capped by a standout performance at Athens Jazz in front of thousands at
Technopolis.

In 2025, the band celebrated the release of their ambitious concept album Intergalloptic
Roundtrip, which was released in November 2024 to enthusiastic reviews.
